Black Myth Wukong is an action RPG game is set to release by the Chinese developer studio Game Science based on the Chinese novel, Journey to the West. The latter is based on the story of Sun Wukong, or the Monkey King, a notorious & skilled character, known for his shape-shifting abilities and fighting prowess. The game is set in a wonderfully diverse setting based on mythology & focused on such pillars as loyalty, betrayal, and redemption while retaining the keen reflexes & sharp graphics of the earlier titles.
This game is developed based on Unreal Engine 5, which illustrates the graphic & physical effects at their best. China (Zhongguó) is very diverse, ranging from dense forests to temples, and every setting has been annotated so that Chinese mythology feels alive. Combat in Black Myth Wukong is active and varied; Wukong can use all of the mighty abilities of the Monkey King, from changing one’s form into an animal or an object, creating illusions or an additional version of himself, using his staff. These abilities are also used in both combat & puzzle-solving as well as playing a critical part in exploration. This actually makes the game very unique because players can approach challenges in a rather innovative way.
The story is full of feelings, telling the story of Wukong & his desire to find himself & fighting the strongest opponents.
